MHM Counselling was founded by Marie Marsolais, an experienced counsellor with lived experience with alcohol. This counselling private practice is dedicated to help anyone having alcohol addiction issues especially grey area drinkers. The reason is quite simple: it seems there is very little service to help those struggling with this specific problematic.
And when it comes to addiction, asking for help can be a vulnerable act. People may hesitate due to various reasons especially the fear of being judged.

Breaking free from a vicious cycle often requires support from professionals with insight, empathy, and strategies for change. With this support, individuals can explore fresh perspectives, challenge self-destructive patterns, and develop new coping mechanisms. This assistance can also help address any underlying issues and find effective ways to break free.
Expertise, Approach & Techniques
An integrative approach that combines different therapeutic modalities, tailored to the unique needs of each individual, is favored. The goal is to collaborate with individuals, helping them gain insight, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives.
Creating a safe and non-judgmental space is our priority, where individuals can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
